I love James Clear's example of raising the temperature of an ice cube, and how it takes time, but it becomes clear.

I've been in a season of raising my overall temperature of life. When it comes to my running, overall kindness towards myself, among other things.

I thought that I'd dig more into this topic and see what gems we can find. As always I hope that it is helpful for you in some way. :)

More things that I talked about in this episode:

  • Running - Really was consistent, then fell once, lost some momentum
  • The need to position things as a little win - helps you build up momentum
  • Reaching out to others in kindness - can help them feel warmer about life
  • Progress towards various projects - Important to track how you are doing
  • Replaying back previous episodes - it's all feedback, you can learn from it

PS: This was recorded in my car, so the sound quality is a bit lacking. At the time I was driving through the mountains of Colorado in 23-25 degree weather late at night, before landing in my hotel in New Mexico. This is the third of seven episodes that were recorded while on the trip :)
