Here's the second episode of a recurring show on the podcast, YIELD Round-ups!
The idea of these YIELD Round-ups is four-fold:
1. Help me stay accountable to myself on my short-term and long-term goals,
2. Spread how the YIELD mindset helped me (and others) this month.
3. Tell about my four big takeaways for living a better life from this month.
4. Share a quick glimpse of my vision for the next month.
School at BYU Idaho recently started up again, and before that I got to go back and see the places where I served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! It was a special trip, full of moments where I felt God's love and was able to share it freely with others. In this episode I share a few of those experiences and lots of other good stuff. Hope you enjoy. :)
Here are my main takeaways from September 2019:
1. Expect God's miracles and blessing to flow - He's got infinite power in His hands.
2. You are so special. You have talents that nobody else has that make you completely unique. - Your specific bundle of skills, talents, and personality makes you second to none - completely unique to everyone else!
3. Doing something new can be so nourishing to the soul (new bedtime routine) - A little bit of spice can change the flavor of something completely.
4. NEVER say that something will ever happen. That’s all hogwash. Anything is possible with the Lord’s help.
Next month I'm going to be working on jump roping more, finishing up the first draft of my book, and writing an intro and outro song for this podcast so it's more professional.
