Happy International Women’s Day. Well every day is women’s day at Africana Woman. The theme for 2022 is Gender Equity today for a Sustainable tomorrow. When I think about Gender Equity I think about women being liberated in all spaces of their lives from the work place, public spaces, their homes to their bedrooms. Often the world likes to toot its horn about equity in politics education and health. But we forget that a woman’s body has been caged in so many more areas.
