It sparked conversation on our team, and we decided it was the perfect topic to share in the collective.
This episode is amazing, and we hope you are inspired to be more present with your family, and realize how distracting social media can be. We talk about taking time off, and share how you can create boundaries with it if you run your business from social media.
One thing that stood out to us is realizing that distraction in life has become a FULL TIME JOB. Like people are spending up to 8+ hours a day outside of working hours on their screens. WHAT!
It was a great reminder that our phones and the people who are on our phones are not the most important thing. The people in front of you are!
One thing we love about the company we are with is that top leaders remind us to GET OFF OUR PHONES. That we do not need our work to consume us, which is such an important reminder since we are doing most of our work from our phones.
Here is a reminder to you, if you find yourself feeling yucky after scrolling social media, start learning to rock the UNFOLLOW button. You can decide who and what you see. Take that control. Create that boundary.
