  • For students with autism or other diverse abilities and special needs, mindfulness is highly beneficial for coping and awareness.
  • A social and emotional learning specialist is a relatively new position in terms of foundational principles and is not yet in every school district.
  • There are many social and emotional learning self-assessment quizzes on the internet. Jaimie suggests picking some out, taking the assessments to see where your areas of growth are, see where you need to grow, and do your work around that.
