I. God's gift to Ruth and Boaz, v13.  II. God's gift to Naomi, vv14-17. III. God's gift to history, and therefore to us, vv17b-22. Here in this passage we see three things: 1) Faith sees children are a blessing from the Lord, v13. 2) Faith believes the Lord can restore the years the locusts have eaten, vv14-17. 3) Faith can trust that our afflictions serve the larger purpose of God, v17b-22.
