Vince Lombardi famously said “Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing.” And George Steinbrenner said “Winning is the most important thing in my life, after breathing. Breathing first, winning next.” And, of course the best quote about winning is from Reese Bobby - "If you ain’t first, you're last."
No matter how you say it, winning and losing has an important place in our culture, and it's infiltrated our faith. Check out three things I'm learning about how my competitive nature leaks into what I believe about God and how to treat people.
