This week, we recap our experience at the Black Knight DONNA Mother’s Day 5K from expo to after-party celebration! We talk about the brand-new DONNA 5K route through Jacksonville’s beautiful Riverside neighborhood, starting and ending at the historic Friday Musicale. In addition to a beautiful race day, we heard one of our favorite race announcers on the mic, Fitz Koehler, one half of Team Noisy! We got our hands on the medal and shirt design we talked about in Episode 207 with Amanda Napolitano a few weeks ago, too. It was such a great race, where we met so many that The DONNA Foundation has helped and supported. We would do it again and recommend it highly!

Vale Food Co in Jacksonville was a great option after completing our race on Saturday. This is a build-your-own bowl (or choose from their menu options if you can’t decide) style meal with plant-based options and meat, dairy, acai bowls, and toast creations, too! It felt like a very "brunchy" and quick option for us. While they don’t have mimosas, they have flavored healthy water, cold-pressed juice shots, coffee, handmade lemonade, and more to quench your thirst. We built our bowls,
