It comes down to knowing what is the most important thing in the game and what you are trying to do - and then prioritizing that. If you let something that important fall into the wrong hands you are guaranteed to fall behind in terms of performance.
As I recently got back into streaming video games on Twitch I've had to move some other things around to compensate. You can never get more time, but you can improve and change how you use your time.
