Sheila Lockwood is a National Ambassador for MADD - Mothers Against Drunk Drivers. Sheila became involved with MADD in June of 2018 when her oldest son, Austin, was killed by an impaired driver. The driver had a BAC of 0.117 almost 3 hours after the crash; he was going 70 mph in a 40-mph zone. Since the loss of her son, Sheila has been a fierce advocate alongside her MADD colleagues. Her impactful efforts have helped lead to the successful passage of lifesaving laws, including the HALT Drunk Driving Law to end impaired driving with passive auto technology.
