The Guardians and the White Sox split the weekend series. If you weren’t paying attention this ended up being just a two-game series as the field conditions were so bad on Sunday that they played no game. One can view it as yet another canceled game in what has been a long series of weather issues this year or maybe a win that the Guardians gained a game on the Twins and didn’t have to face Dylan Cease. We focus on the weird affair from Saturday first. Next up we talk about the Friday win which saw Triston McKenzie dominate and the offense starred multiple contributors to ensure the guardians were able to keep up their lead in the central. We also talk about the demotion of Nolan Jones and why it is the right call. Before digging into why Richie Palacios is not getting the respect he deserves.
