Did the Putin-Biden talks ease Ukraine tensions?

US president Joe Biden and Russia's leader Vladimir Putin held a virtual summit to de-escalate Ukraine invasion fears. During the two-hour talks, Biden warned of sanctions while Putin accused the US and its NATO allies of threatening his country's security. So, has the meeting done anything to prevent a new conflict?
