Business As Unusual, is a series produced by BiCurean Consulting. We present Entrepreneurs, Innovators, CEOs, & Founders who are innovating the way we do business. This episode we are chatting with Nora DiNuzzo, CEO of Pitcher. Growing up, one thing Ms. DiNuzzo never aspired to be was an entrepreneur.Running your own company was for the incredibly wealthy (Mr. Burns) or the incredibly innovative (Doc Brown). She was neither (according to her, we at BiCurean disagree - we experience her as quite innovative!)The past few years she's learned a secret about entrepreneurs. The thing many of them have in common – they desperately want to fix something that drives them nuts.As it turns out – throughout her life and career, a lot of things drove her nuts.So nuts that in October 2021, she quit a VP-level job at an ad agency to start her own consultancy – Pitcher – to help small businesses grow.Because the fact that agencies could rarely find a way to work with companies <$25mm in annual revenue drove her nuts.Because she believes that small businesses deserve to grow, too.In April 2023, she got a call from a friend that she never planned for – with an offer to create something she never considered doing less than two years into being a founder.A second company.Because the fact that so many brilliant agencies continuously struggle to grow drove him nuts.As it turns out – it drives her nuts, too.So nuts that she said yes – and Blood Sweat & Tears was born.Yes, born. she has given birth to two human children – and two businesses – in the last 7 years. There is not a damn thing women can’t do.Websitewww.pitchergrowth.comBest Contact for Listeners to find you or connect with you:https://www.linkedin.com/in/noradinuzzo/NotesChristy Uffelman, BCC, MHCShttps://edgeleadershipsolutions.com/our-founderEpisode 24 - Nora DiNuzzo | Pitcherhttps://www.yearonerealtalk.com/031-nora-dinuzzo-pitcher/AMA Momentum at CCAC: Brand StrategyLightly edited and produced by BiCurean Consulting, BiCurean.com. #business #podcast #women #leadership #BiCurean #BAU #stereotypes #entrepreneurship #marketing #branding Hosted on Acast.
