The Bear, a sharply drawn emotional rollercoaster of a show about a fine-dining chef trying to turn his family’s old-school sandwich shop around, premiered on Disney Plus in 2022 and became one of the biggest hits of the year. The show has been nominated for 13 Emmys and returns with its 'full-bodied' second season this July. Audrey Payne recently spoke with The Bear's co-executive producer, Matty Mathewson, and joins Around Town with the details. Plus, noodle fans join epic queues as Japanese ramen chain Mensho Tokyo opens its first Australian store in the CBD.
