On the show today… In 2018, actor Bill Cosby was convicted on three counts of aggravated indecent assault and sentenced to three to 10 years in prison. Today he walked free on a technicality. And Fast and Furious 9 is the most-watched movie in the world right now, with the biggest opener of the pandemic era. At the same time, there’s been a feud bubbling away between the franchise's biggest stars for years, and one particular reason why no one is really talking about it. Plus, rapper Lil Nas X performed his hit song Montero (Call Me By Your Name) at the BET Awards this week and ended the performance by sharing a kiss with one of his male backup dancers. The performance went viral with many calling it historic for same-gendered representation and at an awards ceremony that celebrates Black excellence. Then Madonna posted a comparison image, linking the performance to her career and it kicked off an important, and controversial, discussion.
