Don’t you think we all need a little emotional distress to shape up? At least to a degree? The timeline I come from, emotional damage would make you into a rock hard killer, a manipulator, a business man, a tyrant and a gangster. Now a days emotional distress makes you into a soft punk bitch with gender disforia with a need to shove your face inside the nutsack of a pharmaceutical drug. Not that it is any better but, I’d rather live through emotional wounds and physiological trauma back then rather than in todays world. Emotional maturity and mental health are todays biggest issues. Victimization of oneself and physical traumatization are todays pop culture and shooting up an elementary school is the end goal. Ultimately, what has changed? Why is it that back then you would run into the storm like Bison rather run from the thunder like a wet dog?
