Was Bathory really that bad? Short answer? Probably no, but maybe. You hear a lot about how this dangerous woman bathed in the blood of virgins (which... probably isn't actually even possible), but what you don't hear about is how a lot of really powerful men owed her money.

Like. A lot of money.
