I used to focus so much on wanting to be the nice girl. I wanted to be liked by others and didn’t want to trigger anyone. It all came from a place of people pleasing.

 

So many women in business that I speak to struggle with this. Focusing on others is a kind and considerate thing, but at some point, putting too much attention on pleasing others can be what’s actually holding you back.
