Friday afternoon; June 19, 2009 (Jumaada Thani 25, 1430)

Sheykh Abdul Kerim Efendi was saying that Holy Prophet Muhammad (saws) gave the secret of tarikat, as well as everything that was in his heart, to Abu Bakr Siddik (ra) while they were together in the cave outside Makka. Later Prophet (saws) gave the secret of La illaha Il ALLAH to Sayiddina Ali (ra). All 40 tarikats came from these two sahaba. Sheykh Efendi also spoke about how ALLAH swt does not like arrogant display of power. Physical power must be used correctly. A man of vision is not afraid of earthly power. It is only fleeting.
