Michael Easley, U.S. District Attorney for Eastern District of North Carolina, has been taking action against drug trafficking and gun violence in his district. He has helped get more federal support to local law enforcement and is tackling each part of his district differently deepening on their needs. There has also been a heavy focus on helping kids that are at high risk to become members of gangs and to help communities view their local police as someone they can trust.
