It is a busy time on Jones Street as the General Assembly continues their work and a number of members have introduced legislation, that includes legalization that has been brought fourth by in the House by Wake County Rep. Erin Pare that would raise starting teacher pay to $50,000, restore master's degree pay and study dollar allotment system to increase district compensation flexibility.
