Life is short...very short. The Bible has many, many verses that talk about the brevity of our lives, like Psalm 39:4-5:
LORD, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered — how fleeting my life is. You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand. My entire lifetime is just a moment to you; at best, each of us is but a breath.
So how should we engage in life in the short time we are allotted here on Earth? Listen to "The Rest of My Life" to see, and then ask yourself these questions:
- What plans in my life do I need to surrender to the unknown?
- What areas of my life are keeping me from living with a sense of urgency?
- What parts of my life do I need to submit to God's understanding?
