John Tardy of Obituary joins the Talk Toomey Podcast to discuss their latest album, Dying of Everything. John talks about writing and recording during the pandemic and having to sit on the album. He speaks on not wanting to release the album when they couldn't tour. John lets us know about the writing process and the convenience of having built a studio. He also talks about recent tours with Amon Amarth, Black Label Society and the final Slayer shows. John and Joshua also reflect on the early days of Sepultura in the US and meeting those guys at Morrisound Studios.
