We look at Pet Sematary (1989), the story of a a family in Stephen-King-Maine, who learns to use the power of an ancient burial ground where “the ground’s gone sour” and soon discovers that “sometimes dead is better.” We discuss intrusive neighbors, unexplained Shining skills, and living next to dangerous roads, among other things.
