Our guests Jeff and Kara represent the 5th generation of their family cattle ranch in Colorado. Their story began over a century ago when Kara's great great grandfather claimed land in eastern Colorado through the Enlarged Homestead Act of 1909.
In 1917 he officially established the ranch that would become the foundation for Colorado Craft Beef today. Fast forward to now, Kara has taken the lead in evolving their family business. She is driving innovation while maintaining their legacy of quality cattle and stewardship of the land.
