For decades, we’ve read about China’s one-child policy, and the often traumatic impact it has had on the country’s citizens. Of the forced sterilisations, and babies abandoned in orphanages. But now, decades after that policy was first put into place, China is battling a different problem. Namely, a fertility collapse that has led to a drastic decline in the economy and  innovation.
