Just think "bloddy toes" and see how that sits before deploying. Situations vary, of course. Just remain aware that unplanned lawn intrusions and obstacles do happen.

Ooohhh.. So I finally saw video of this OpenMower project. I imagined something much larger and dangerous for a DIY project. While I still believe in safety first, this does not conjure quite the nightmare scenarios I imagined when I hadn't seen the thing yet.
