In 1991, Robert Felix, a former architect, became vitally interested in the dinosaur extinction. He spent the next eight years - full-time - researching and writing Not by Fire but by Ice. Felix learned that many magnetic reversals - more than could be mere coincidence - had occurred in sync with both mass extinctions and ice ages. Why did ice ages so often coincide with magnetic reversals? he wondered. He came to the conclusion that the dinosaurs were killed by an ice age... triggered by a magnetic reversal ... and that The Next Ice Age Could Begin Any Day. Today, 29 years later, Robert is more convinced than ever that we are now entering an ice age. His primary website is IceAgeNow.INFO, which he started in 1997. To date, it has received more than 46 million hits! Robert wrote a follow-up book, Magnetic Reversals and Evolutionary Leaps, in which he challenges Darwin’s ideas of slow, stately evolution.
