Ephesians 2:11-22

c) community- we like what God does when we are together

1. Jesus is necessary to Gospel community, v. 13-16

a. separated from Christ

b. alienated from the commonwealth of Israel 

c. strangers to the covenants of promise

d. having no hope

e. without God in the world

2. Gospel community is deep and wide, v. 17-18

a. fellow citizens

b. saints

c. members of the household of God

d. apostles

e. prophets

f. Christ Jesus

3. Together we become, v. 19-21

4. God builds community so he can inhabit community, v. 22
