Send us a textIn this episode, I speak with Todd Wright. Todd is the Vice President of Player Performance and Assistant Coach for the Los Angeles Clippers. He is currently finishing his second season with the Clippers. Before his time with the Clippers, Todd spent four years with the Philadelphia 76ers as an Assistant Coach and Head of Strength and Conditioning.  Before the NBA, Todd spent 21 years in college basketball and helped his teams reach 19 out of 21 NCAA tournaments, including 17 consecutive trips to the NCAA tournament with teams at Clemson and Texas. Todd had the privilege to coach and help develop many great players in his coaching career. While at Texas he coached two National Player of the Year winners, T.J. Ford (2003) and Kevin Durant (2007). Todd Founded Train 4 The Game in 2002, a Fitness / Sports Performance, and Physical Restoration Facility in Austin Texas, and has also worked with and consulted for Nike Global Basketball, Nike SPARQ, and The Nike Performance Council. Todd has been speaking nationally on Topics of Functional Performance and Rehabilitation since 2006, including the Training model of the Vertical Core – Functional Upright Core Training. That has been featured in Men’s Fitness and Experience Life Magazine.
