Lightning⚡️Ventures Syndicate Q&A with Bitstack Founder/CEO Alexandre Roubaud.  Fresh out of YC (S22) batch, Bitstack is onboarding people to their Bitcoin friendly "round up" app.  Starting with an "Acorns style" round-up feature with a lot more on the roadmap.  Users stack their first Bitcoin by rounding up their purchases and saving spare change in Bitcoin. Bitstack is an on-ramp that lowers Bitcoin's barriers to entry and democratizes it for the average consumer in Europe.  Is that it?  No!  Of course not.  On the roadmap are a VISA debit card, Bitcoin cashback, Pay me in Bitcoin (payroll services/direct deposit), P2P payments on the platform (fiat and BTC), and Bitcoin-backed loans.  Bitstack launched in France 5 months ago and has gained nearly 4k active users that are saving an aggregate of $400k EU per month.  North of 70% retention after 3 months.  They are focusing on the hardest regulated EU markets first and have a very unique strategy.  Incredible co-investors and we're pretty excited.  We're lucky to be investing, have some great questions from our Lightning Ventures group, and wanted to get something in our archives about this amazing company!
