We look at two first basemen both drafted in 2007 that failed to make an impact in Beau Mills and Matt LaPorte. We come back and look at another first-rounder from 2007 in Nick Hagadone who also didn’t live up to expectations and explain what went wrong with a big lefty who seemed as safe as they come when he was acquired from the Red Sox. He seemed to have the floor of an elite reliever.
