The Biden Administration has announced an ambitious plan to try and prevent the devastating wildfires that have ravaged California and the west for the last few years. It calls for a dramatic increase in reducing fire risk by using more controlled burns and thinning of forests. The new plan covers 10 years and could cost $50 billion.
