I explain the lack of show on Friday and why there is a Sunday makeup. We then get into some Rule 5 chatter using the piece on the Athletic which highlights players. I talk about who is interesting and who might make sense for the Guardians if they opened a 40 man spot via trade. After discussing the American League players of note we then focus on National League players including the pitcher and hitter that are the most interesting players in the Rule 5 for me. Andres Melendez passed away on December 16, at the age of 20. He was acquired for Mark Mathias two years ago.
