Prof. Dr Martha Dunagin Saunders has served as an academic and university leader for over 30 years. She is an expert in public relations and crisis communication and has won multiple awards. As the President of the University of West Florida, Saunders established the UWF Innovation Institute, Center for Cybersecurity, and the Office of Equity and Diversity. She also oversaw the reorganisation of the institution's colleges and the creation of two new named colleges.
