Also, they believe that trauma can only have devastating impacts after a long law enforcement career. Our guest John Saporsky, former police officer shatters those myths. He talks about the shootings he was involved in, his own near death in a traffic accident involving a stolen police vehicle and pursuit. He experienced trauma and the effects early in his career, which played a part in his decision to leave law enforcement.
