A serial entrepreneur living abroad for 10 years, Clement was continuously frustrated that he couldn't access quality French films outside of France. Only 3% of Netflix's catalog is French films, even though France is the world's second largest exporter of film, next to the United States. Clément set about to solve the problem by launching Cinessance, a streaming platform for French film and an intercultural platform to bring french-language films and culture to francophiles, francophones and movie fans around the world. Clément is a French expat who has lived on four continents in Europe, Asia, South America and is now based in Silicon Valley. He is a serial entrepreneur who got his start in the field of aviation, and has experience creating new businesses from scratch, including Voom, the “Uber for Helicopters”, which was incubated by Airbus, and Skydex (now Altaport), an “Airbnb for helipads”. Now he is matching his entrepreneurial roots with his expat experience to create Cinessance and make French film accessible for people around thew world.  .
