It is important that we see ourselves properly before God. And part of that is realizing that in and of ourselves, that we have no merit, there's nothing that we can cling to based upon what we have done, that is going to make us acceptable to God. But rather, it's only through the work of Messiah, what he did in our behalf, on Passover, on that cross that gives us the grace whereby God will see us and receive us into His presence.
