I knew that both Erik and gigi have strong Christian faith but I didn't know that they had a strong calling from God to pursue their bitcoin evangelism. I know a lot of bitcoiners have found or refound God, it would be cool to hear if others also have felt a distinct calling to provide public bitcoin contributions.

John, the ability to encode a difference (0 or 1), or a polarity, is fundamental - a single difference can encode everything in information form. You may be interested in the fact that the ability to compute this difference - with adequate functions (NAND/XOR) is in fact sufficient to build all software as well. So with the ability to store a polarity, and a function to recognise it - all information and processes could possibly emerge. Loved this hangout, thanks!
