Living the victorious Christian life requires that we deal with the confidence killers on the journey. Confidence killers are self-defeating thought patterns that we act out in our emotions. Many of us walk through life with these harmful emotions of condemnation, guilt, and shame. Christ went to the cross so that we do not have to be plagued by these negative emotions. Jesus is called the Prince of Peace, but we cannot enjoy peace if we do not deal with these toxic thought patterns.
