How would you fill in this blank? “If I only had more ___________, my life would be better.” You might say money or time or even opportunities. While there are all sorts of ways we can fill in that blank, the ancient book of Proverbs invites us to think differently; it challenges us to see that what we really need is wisdom. In fact, the book even envisions wisdom as someone calling out to us right now—inviting us to pay attention. This summer we will accept that invitation and explore how this book addresses everyday topics like speech, friendship, family, work, and money. Along the way, we will see that Proverbs guides us in developing wisdom for life.
