The response has been heartening and the personal stories some of you included were touching. Over 1.5 million people have left Ukraine so far,, ~5% of the population. A loyal listener from Canada pointed out that there are more Ukrainians in Canada than USA  =1.4M v 1M in US. Canada has opened its borders for the ukrainian refugees. The US has yet to do this but has extended the visas for Ukrainians in the US. Heard from a Russian listener who said the Russian people are"scared shitless." They  don’t know what news to believe, so much propaganda  He’s an IT guy so pretty savvy.  Here’s a quote from one of his letters:Anyway, if I'm going to be arrested, for me it's a way to a free world, as a fugitive of some sort. Your support, support from people of the world -- that's important, thank you. Rosie from Scotland sent me a video of Peace Train, the Cat Stevens song, sung by an international collection of singers. Very nice, seems like something we need.Rosie also sent us two of her poetic interpretations  whereby she would watch short silent  video clips created by another artist and create audiovisual poetry.
