Police are searching for a stolen ute -- involved in a hit and run in Perth's south. 

Just before 6, an offender stole the white Isuzu D-Max from a home on Montpellier Mews in Port Kennedy. 

During the incident, a pedestrian was hit by the vehicle and received serious injuries. 

He's been taken to hospital. 

Anyone who sees the ute with registration F-D-6-6-4 should call police right away on 131 triple 4.
