1 Samuel 15

1. God takes himself very seriously, v. 1-3

Three messages Samuel sends with his behavior...

a. I don’t relate to God the way Saul does.  

b. What God says matters

c. Sinful behavior has consequences.

1.   Can you feel when you are just going through the motions in your relationship with God?  If yes, 

      how would you describe that feeling?

2.   How would you change and what would change in your life if you really understood what

      God delights in?

3.   This morning we talked about the sins of rebellion and presumption.  Which one of those is more 

      of an issue you?
