Steve & Scott, lifelong friends, are promoting an amazing book titled PICTURES ALIVE: ROCK SHOWS OF THE 80s & BEYOND. The elaborate collection of amazing photos & stories contained in the book taken from concerts in the Bay area during the hey-day of Rock & Metal during the 1980s, is not your typical paint by numbers book, but instead is presented from the perspective & viewpoint of a music fan & enthusiastic concert goer.Steve & Scott were just like the rest of us, Heavy Metal junkies who loved to see their favorite bands, however Steve was THAT guy who snuck his camera into the show & decades later has unearthed these never seen before photos from bands like Van Halen, Kiss, Dio, Def Leppard, Judas Priest, AC/DC, Ozzy, Scorpions, Motley Crue and many others. But what makes his collection unique is that the photos are not professional, but still pretty damn good! Heck, who didn’t at some point try to sneak in a camera or cassette recorder to a concert! But beyond the pictures are the recaps and stories from the shows, the ticket stubs & concert ads, setlists, the interfaces with the bands themselves & the comradery with his best friends.
