Gina Grappone is the Development Director of The Recovery Cafe, whose origins in Seattle date back 20 years. Today there are 2 locations, one at Denny & Boren, another in the SODO area. Two among more than 60 cafes across the US, and one in Canada. It's an empowering peer model providing support for mental and physical health, nutrition, community and connection, jobs, and leadership skills. You could consider Recovery Cafe a refuge for healing. The support is no cost to those who are members, and that's where we have the opportunity to support this important work, to support our community neighbors in need.
