Brian, Blake, and Richard are back for an all-new episode of the Chasing Tone Podcast!Blake's had an odd week and is fatigued but the guys have zero sympathy as they are more worried about the news regarding vacuum tube availability. EHX came out with a statement and the guys chat about their perspective on this before Brian reveals an amazing solid state replacement for tubes as Richard brings up the subject of high end solid state amps. This in turn sends Brian off onto a schematic treasure hunt...Brian gets excited about the prospect of a Scotch egg and Richard tries to convince him that Special Brew is something he wants to try. The guys then discuss a solar powered guitar pedal before discussing the effects of the power crisis on the production of certain herbal substances. Blake has been wearing an Anti-negativity helmet as he has been privileged to demo the new Aquabats pedal and Richard wants one. The guys then talk about plugins and DAWs a bit more and Blake has a secret. Richard went to his first gig since lock down and got to see friend of the show Paul Cuddeford doing his thang and it was good! Conway Twitty, David Copperfield, Peavey amps, Rideable goat robots, Psychometric weaponry, Merle Gilmour and Waylon Waters...it's all in this week's Chasing Tone!We are on Patreon now too!Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/chasingtonepodcast)DIY mods:https://modyourownpedal.com/collections/booksFind us at:https://www.wamplerpedals.com/https://www.instagram.com/WamplerPedals/https://www.facebook.com/groups/wamplerfanpage/Youtube:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdVrg4Wl3vjIxonABn6RfWwContact us at: podcast@wamplerpedals.comSupport the show
