Known as the World Marathon Challenge less than 35 people run this race each year.What makes his story magical is that he had been seeking his life’s purpose since he was a child when he was told he had a ‘learning challenge’ at 5 years old and told he would not graduate high school as he dealt with Dyslexia.He would use sport as a way for him to process his frustration in the classroom and it led to an incredible academic career, as he gained two masters degrees while winning two National Championships and multiple Pac-10/Pac-12 titles at USC as a member of their football staff. He has served as the Director of Football Operations at the University of Washington and USC before leaving his dream job in the summer of 2017 to run his dream race, the World Marathon Challenge.The goal: to raise awareness for the International Dyslexia Foundation.
