This is the fourth week of Advent and of our series, The Story: a Lessons and Carols Experience. These services have been a bit different. We have designed them to be a slow march through a traditional Lessons and Carols service. As we have noted, starting in England in ?? a service developed in which through nine Lessons (which are passages of Scripture) and nine corresponding Christmas hymns, the story of our rescue – from Genesis 1 through the arrival of Christ (the incarnation / the Christmas event) is told.In light of some COVID restrictions, but also with a desire to unpack this story so it is better understood, we have been doing two lessons per week. Today we cover lessons seven and eight.
