Did you know that when you refuse to forgive someone you are really victimizing yourself? The word forgive means to cancel a debt. It means you relinquish your right to collect what you are owed. If you refuse to forgive someone, you are in essence demanding that they give you something that they have not intention of giving you. This can be devastating to your well being.

Matthew 18.21-22: Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.
